THINGS I COLLECT: ESSENTIAL OILS.

A new-this-year collection to me is essential oils. And after realizing how many I’ve accumulated in such a short period of time, I’ve decided I’ll make a separate post detailing my personal journey, thoughts, and opinions on essential oils, haha! In total, I have over 80 individual bottles of single oils or pre-made blends by 4 different brands, 5 diffusers & 1 nebulizer, and have made plenty of my own… cleaning spray, “poo-pourri”, candles, body sprays, diffuser recipes, and more. I think it’s safe to say I love essential oils. I love the simple fact that I can just diffuse a blend for an instant mood adjuster and it’s soooo much more customizable than a candle – plus safer! I diffuser at home, before bed, at work, while driving… LOVE IT. I’ll share what my favorite brands, diffusers, blends, and more are in the future too 🙂 BLOG ▪ ETSY…

THINGS I COLLECT: MANEKI-NEKO.

My collections are usually pretty small. Almost every day I bounce between being a hoarder and being a minimalist. Not kidding. It’s intense. I purchased the single white one next, but cannot remember when or from where. After that, I started labeling them. The group of three kitties came from Brian’s and my trip to Austin, Texas, in October 2012. (I…

#25: ACQUIRE A NEW CAMERA.

#25 on my 26 Things To Do While I’m Twenty-Six list was “Acquire a new camera.” I originally intended to find another older camera at the flea market. OR, ideally, replace my DSLR with a newer model. Well, about two weeks ago, Brian and I went to his mom’s for dinner one night. She had had these cameras set aside for a rummage sale, but they didn’t sell, so she let me take a look to see if I wanted any. I chose three of the five 🙂 I’ve always liked the Brownies – so cute and compact! This one doesn’t have its bulb, but I can either find a replacement or take the flash off for displaying. I love Arguses (Argi?)! They’ve made a LOT of different cameras over the years (they were founded in 1936) and they started in Ann Arbor, Michigan! You gotta love Michigan companies ♥…
